Since I’ve gone natural, my hair is so hard to detangle. What am I doing wrong? Detangle hair while wet for easier detangling. Also be sure to trim your hair every 4-6 weeks, as well as deep condition with an oil-treatment. Moisturize hair as much as possible. Try our Salt Scalp Scrub.

What can I do to prevent breakage during the transitioning process? Wear protective styles! The weakest area of your hair during transition is where the new growth (natural hair) meets the relaxed hair. Wear rod or straw sets, wigs or braids to protect the hair from breakage during the transitioning process. Have ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks and protect the hair while sleeping with a satin pillowcase or head scarf.
